Which Royal Purple motor oil should I use for my Acura TSX? and should I use OEM filter or Royal Purple Filter?

I need a oil change for my 2007 Acura TSX. I am a total noob about cars however, and I have never done an oil change myself but I am planning to on my next oil change. I have been using OEM Acura Filter/ and whatever oil they use at the dealership. I have heard Royal Purple is really good motor oil so i was jsut wondering which one is the correct oil to get for my TSX. 10w30, 10w20, 5w30, or 5w20. Also how many quart bottles will I need to purchase? and should I get the new Royal Purple Oil Filters or just stick with the OEM Acura Filter?Which Royal Purple motor oil should I use for my Acura TSX? and should I use OEM filter or Royal Purple Filter?Check your owners manual for the API rating for the oil. Also it will tell you which weight to use.(varies according to the temperature in your area) Both filters will do the job. The purple one will cost a lot more. stick with the oil weight of whatever acura recommends (5-20 i think)

i personally don't use royal purple. i tried it but found that as a racing oil it worked fantastically... for 1000 miles and then deteriorated quickly, much like amsoil. i get my best luck out of Castrol's family of fine oils, especially their synthetics.Which Royal Purple motor oil should I use for my Acura TSX? and should I use OEM filter or Royal Purple Filter?it doesnt matter can go to any parts store an dget what you need you use what ever filter you want brand wise and use same weight of oil what ever brand name you wish... fram oil filter
